Forskin Problem

Circumcision

Circumcision is when the skin covering the tip of the penis is surgically removed. It’s something some baby boys get in certain parts of the world. You can also get circumcised after you’re born, but that’s a bit more complicated.

Some families do it for religious reasons, tradition, cleanliness, or health. But for others, it might seem not needed or like it changes how things look.

Why it's done

Circumcision is an old surgery that’s done for different reasons like religion or tradition. There’s a new way called Stapler Circumcision, which is quicker and causes less pain. The stapler cuts and staples the skin in one go, and the staples fall off after a few weeks.

This procedure can be done in about 5 minutes with local anesthesia, and most people can go back to work in 6 hours. It’s designed to avoid the pain and swelling that usually happen with other methods. While local anesthesia is usually enough, some people prefer general or spinal anesthesia.

Circumcision can have some health benefits:

  1. Easier to Clean: It makes it easier to wash the penis.
  2. Less Risk of Infections: It lowers the risk of urinary tract infections and certain sexually transmitted infections.
  3. Prevents Penile Problems: It can prevent issues with the foreskin.
  4. Less Risk of Cancer: It lowers the rare risk of penile cancer, and it’s also linked to lower cervical cancer risk in female partners.

But it might not be suitable for everyone, especially if there are certain health issues. It’s also not recommended for premature babies or babies with penis abnormalities.

Why choose Stapler Circumcision:

  • Painless
  • No sutures
  • 3 minute procedure
  • Can be done under local block
  • Bloodless
  • Disposable device
  • No infection
  • Day care
  • Return to work the same day
  • Cosmetic and Aesthetic

Is Stapler better than Laser Circumcision:

Yes stapler is definitely better as the circumferential cut is cleaner in stapler Circumcision. The biggest advantage of stapler is that even one or two sutures that Laser requires is not used here. Hence the scar is muck cleaner and more cosmetic. The postoperative swelling is almost non existent whereas in Laser a certain amount of postoperative swelling can be expected.
